This presentation provides an overview of the WAZIP program and how it supports businesses in reducing energy costs and emissions. We’ll explain program goals, eligibility, and the types of projects and technologies that can be supported. The presentation will highlight available incentives, technical assistance, and the application process. We’ll also share examples of how organizations can leverage WAZIP to advance energy efficiency and decarbonization goals. Time will be reserved for questions and discussion.”

“Bryan Strom Jr. is an Energy Professional with the WSU Energy Program's Green Transportation Program. He provides technical assistance on transportation electrification across WA State. He is a proud member of the Quinault Indian Nation.”

Satchel is a Green Fleet Specialist with the WSU Energy Program’s Green Transportation Program. Specializing in hydrogen fuels and infrastructure, they come from a strong background of data analysis and natural resource management from the University of Washington - Seattle Campus, graduating in 2024 with a B.S. In Environmental Science and Natural Resource Management. Satchel is always excited to educate and engage in discussions about renewable resources and how to advance our energy grid for everyone in our regional and broader communities.”
